Make Your Own Call To The Foster’s Helpline
May 28, 2012 By M Davison
The Foster’s fun team have made it possible for people to make their own personalised video calls to Brad and Dan, the dynamic duo of agony uncles who spend all their time sitting in a beach shack in Oz.
All you need to do is go online at fosters.co.uk and go to the good call centre. Suitably bikini-clad Sheilas are manning the help line switchboard and ask you what kind of problem you’re calling about on behalf of a ‘mate in a state’. There are four areas of interest to choose from: personality, image, girls and ignorance.
Once you’ve made your choice, you’re asked to fill in your mate’s name and once you’ve typed it in, the girl in charge of your call will run it over to Brad and Dan in the shack.
You then see Brad and Dan running through some good advice for your mate, all laced with humour of course. Once you’ve finished, you can post the finished video to your mate’s Facebook wall – a great way to tackle one of his issues head on and in the public arena!
This is the latest in the different ways that foster’s has been mixing advertising beer with having fun. It certainly seems to be a winning formula with the British public – and of course it has been perfectly timed for the run up to Euro 2012 and the London Olympics. The idea is that with all this advertising going on, Foster’s will be at the forefront of every beer drinker’s mind when they’re standing in a queue at the off-licence waiting to pick up a six-pack before the next big game or sporting occasion.
If you’ve not seen any of the good call ads yet, you can catch them all on the fosters.co.uk website.
