Opera is a type of performing art, which includes musicians and singers that perform a dramatic piece which combines vocals which are known as libretto and musical score. When going to see an opera show you should expect to see different types of spoken theatre, including acting, scenery and costume and on the rare occasion dance. Opera shows usual take place in an opera house. It was in the 16th century in Italy when opera was introduced and was soon popular around the all of Europe.
