The Juried Student Art Show is featured in the gallery of the Artzplace Oklahoma through Saturday, March 27.

There will be an artists' reception on Friday, February 6, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

The public is invited to both the exhibition and the reception. Admission is free.

All University of Central Oklahoma Fine Arts and Art Education students were invited by the UCO Student Art Association to submit work in any 2D media for the exhibition, which will be juried by Deborah Myers, an artist and instructor at the University of Central Oklahoma and Jessica Schnebel, an artist and educator at Casady School. A broad range of art will be represented, from traditional media such as drawing and painting, to serigraphy and multimedia works.

The students with work in the Juried Student Art Show are: Ann Campbell, Sara Day-Short, Johnny DeLucia, Brandi Downham, Laine Godsey, Abi Hopkins, Beatriz Alicia Mayorca Hernandez, Hong-Anh Nquyen, Ariana Riera, Hal Ripper, and Julie Yarbor.

The Juried Student Art Show is coordinated by the UCO Student Art Association and Artzplace Oklahoma. The UCO Student Art Association is a student art organization that works together to increase the opportunity for it's members, while giving back to the community through volunteer activism.
